The traditional Haitian herbal bath used by moms during postpartum, called “Twa Bain” is a specific mix of natural herbs used to fortify the bath water and aides in healing and tightening the joints and muscles. Our Recovery Bath, inspired by Twa Bain, is intended to improve circulation and cleanse the vagina while soothing the mind and spirit.
Fill your bathtub with hot water. Boil Recovery Bath in a large pot of water. Once water comes to a boil, pour water (with or without the herbs) into the bathtub. Adjust bath water temperature as necessary. Allow yourself to soak for up to 30 minutes.
Recovery Bath can be boiled in a large tea bag or strained to avoid herbs in the bathtub.
Best use before bedtime.
Keep warm after bath - socks and a robe are recommended.
Made of Natural Herbs: Papaya, Sour Orange, Sour Soup, Mint, Lavender, Calendula, Dead Sea Salt, Plantain Leaf, Bugleweed and Eucalyptus.
